Donald Trump is unfit to lead such a splendid people, of such an epic Country. Think what the man could have accomplished if he possessed even a smidgen of character and integrity.
But I have to admit I fear his opponents to a far greater extent.
I could live to be 150 and not understand the animosity- in both my Country, and yours- toward the Ukrainian defence efforts. We fight Russia, China and Iran today, or we fight them tomorrow.

The number of times this president has blown past that marker would be impossible to tally. Way back in 2016 we were told that Trump is special, so he gets a different standard of judgment. Turns out that means no standard beyond "Let Trump be Trump."

Unfortunately the Democrats have been nuts since 1972, when they nominated George McGovern. McGovern was the first of the many far-left infiltrators in the Democratic Party - he voted in 1948 not for Harry Truman (the Democratic nominee), but rather for Henry Wallace. Wallace ran under the ad-hoc “Progressive” banner, with the endorsement of the Communist Party of the U.S.A.
The Democratic Party of today is run by the intellectual heirs of Henry Wallace - if they are not outright communists, they are what we used to call “comsymps.” There are no Hubert Humphreys, Scoop Jacksons, or Daniel Moynihans any more.
The current popularity of socialism among Democrats is not a complete novelty but rather a recrudescence. If the truth be told, socialism and communism are as strong today as they have been since the time of Henry Wallace. Indeed, when Brennan (who confessed to voting for Gus Hall) was head of the CIA in Obama’s administration, we had as dangerous a communist in government as there has been since Harry Dexter White.
The flip side of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), the pejorative used to denigrate critics of the president, is Trump Denial Syndrome—the inverse form of TDS. This second type of TDS could be applied to anyone who stays doggedly uncritical of the president, however unpresidential, unethical, foolish, or illegal his actions may be.
It seems to me (and perhaps to others who haven’t succumbed totally to either type of TDS) that President Trump’s behavior frequently exhibits traits of Cluster B personality disorders, as described below by the Cleveland Clinic:
CLUSTER B PERSONALITY DISORDERS
Cluster B personality disorders involve dramatic and erratic behaviors. People with these types of conditions display intense, unstable emotions and impulsive behaviors. Cluster B personality disorders include:
• Antisocial personality disorder (ASPD): People with ASPD show a lack of respect toward others and don’t follow socially accepted norms or rules. People with ASPD may break the law or cause physical or emotional harm to others around them. They may refuse to take responsibility for their behaviors and/or display disregard for the negative consequences of their actions.
• Borderline personality disorder (BPD): This condition is marked by difficulty with emotional regulation, resulting in low self-esteem, mood swings, impulsive behaviors and subsequent relationship difficulties.
• Histrionic personality disorder: This condition is marked by intense, unstable emotions and a distorted self-image. For people with histrionic personality disorder, their self-esteem depends on the approval of others and doesn’t come from a true feeling of self-worth. Rush always referred to his broadcast as The Rush Limbaugh Program, never show, even though others did. If character is what a person does when no one is watching, what's the best single word to describe what Trump is doing with everyone watching? Not to go all-Jonah Goldberg, but surely there's a German word that fits.
Brazenness is his superpower. What's most puzzling to me is the willingness of so many people to grant him basically limitless moral indulgence - and tell themselves it's for some high moral purpose to boot.

These are not traits we want in our leaders.
