To The Village Idiwitt, it gives me no pleasure to unload on you, in the comments section of your Substack that I happily subscribe, but you are to nice a guy, even when you say you are being bitter…so let me give you a taste of what would be happening in the near future if We the People still had a Grand Ole Party that lived up to its name…and declared Donald J Trump an Enemy of the Peoples of Western Civilisation and is soon to be at the other end of a Nadal Hasan pay per view spectacle broadcast live at the biggest colosseum and sports book in Vegas….I do not know if Charles Krauthammer or William F. Buckley, let alone Jay Nordlinger would agree with such moral sentiments regarding our traitor, monster, I mean mobster POSPOTUS (I used to think The Don was as cunning as Michael Corelone, but in recent dayz I beginning to think he is becoming Fredo). FOR GODS SAKE THIS WISE GUY CANNOT REMAIN IN POWER…and all his Capos, high class call girls (Scari Lake lives up to her name…just look at her but eyes), and willing executioners…and all the human full of feces at FOXXXY NEWS NETWORK need to be held accountable for placating, enabling and fawning over Anti Truth Neo Nationalist Sociopath that literally should be in a cell…or rhymes with…and someone with courage needs to say everything I just put in print to the Russsian Agent Orangeman’s smugly face RIGHT NOW so he has a …rhymes with Bic Mac Attack and goes six thousand feet under where he belongs like so yesterday…God only knows how many innocent human lives have been lost in the Ukraine since The Don rolled out the bloody red carpet, on American soil, for a war criminal and mass murderer. Not sure the Republican Party that you hope resurrects itself (to the one you remember) even exists any more. Trump took it over effortlessly in 2016. All he had to say on the debate stage was that he will support the nominee as long as it is him.
Loved your column on Charles Krauthammer. In one of his columns he compared Trump to an 8 year old - which I thought and still think was a generous addition of 6 years.
To the question would Krauthammer believe Trump envies Xi? I believe that would be an emphatic yes - bloated and bursting with envy.
Ouch ... I know that stating the facts about Maga is not the gospel, but there is a part of me that feels if we say nothing the rocks will cry out and we will be liable for the mess.
