So much to think about here, and I'm only partway through! But I have to comment on Jay's remarks about Obamacare. This legislation, *for me* was life-changing. I had healthcare, which I badly needed and under the high risk pools could no longer afford and in some years could not have. I could not understand conservatives' opposition. Did they not understand how much this meant to some?
This is the gift that Trump 2 has given me: Spending time listening to conservatives--real conservatives--many of whom did in fact oppose that legislation which was so important to me. Slowly I am coming to understand that the questions were valid (honestly, Jay, some of the questions were valid and not just racially motivated). I still hold that Obamacare was necessary, particularly for the chronically ill subset of the population denied regular insurance, but...it was not unreasonable to oppose it.
I would hope there was a transcript. I dont know why I am averse to podcasts - something about an old horse and new tricks. I will likely break down and listen as I am of the left tribe moving center/conservative and you apparently my mirror, I used to read you on NR but eventually found them too tribal to tolerate so moved to Dispatch.

Thx, Annemarie. Very best ...
“I hate his enemies..” Hate will consume you. Back to my movie recommendation—“Intolerance”.
Feel good about the world. MI won the bball championship and hockey looks to do the same. Where will they put all those trophies?

Yes on transcripts of pod casts.
