In defense of the NRA, Wayne LaPierre has been forced to resign in disgrace. A reformed NRA board and leadership, elected by the NRA membership, is suing the NRA Foundation, controlled by LaPierre loyalists, for continuing to raise money in the NRA's name while refusing to fund the gun safety programs the foundation was created to support. The NRA board, leadership, and members are trying to return the NRA to the purposes for which it was founded, teaching marksmanship and safe firearms handling.
Do you get the reference in the White House post, “Which way, Greenland man?” There’s a 1978 book called “Which Way Western Man?,” which claims there is a Jewish plot against white people, calls for violence against Jews, and says that Adolf Hitler was right. Trump doesn’t know that, but whoever runs the White House’s social media accounts does.

That makes all two of us, Mr. Nordlinger. The zeitgeist, however, calls for an enormous amount of Federal intervention. I'm sure I read earlier this year that, without the Federal Department of Education, there would be basically no public education in the United States, and Millions Would Die or something.
"And I think their [the Ukrainians'] brutalizers deserve universal opprobrium." I think they deserve much worse.
Their dictatorial leader is someone whom Trump calls "a terrific person."
"I am grateful to Mitch McConnell . . . " I will be eternally grateful to him for the Supreme Court('s) not including Merrick Garland.
" . . . 'jack-booted government thugs' wearing 'Nazi bucket helmets and black storm trooper uniforms to attack law-abiding citizens.' "
Sounds like ICE appearance and behavior to me. I approve of their narrow mission, to remove criminal illegal aliens, but not the way they are going about it.
