Thanks, Jay! A wonderful travel journal. I, too, studied in Rome (two summers), but didn't spend much time in villages. I particularly enjoyed those descriptions!
A could le of summers ago I splurged and stayed at the Grand Hotel. The whole island is magic in many different ways. When I retire back to Ohio, I hope to visit every summer.
Jay - loved your Italy journal. I've enjoyed your travel diaries for years, and this journal is one of your best. I wish you were traveling around (and continuing to write about) Italy for the rest of the summer. The photos are great, and each Part has been educational, entertaining and very interesting. They have been the first email I look for each morning. Thank you!

Thank you so much.
I am sad that we have to leave Italy and Sicily. Thanks much for the tour, Jay.
👍
Before this I was not eager to read nineteen posts about Italy. Now, I thank you, Jay.
How could there possibly be too many posts about Italy?
Thank you, David.
Mackinac Island is the standard by which all tourism is measured.

!
What a pleasure to have read your journal. It reminds me that my wife and I need to make one more visit while the bodies will still tolerate it!
My body is no longer tolerant. But that is why reading this journal was a pleasure for me.
Bravo!
Thx!

Hated to see this series come to an end!
Thank you, Mark.
