There are very big waterfalls at the edge of Edessa in Greece. I haven't been there, but I studied the place as a possibility for my Greek itinerary a couple of years ago.
Blessed are the whactavists…who have come to be lie eve robbing Rich Peter to pay for poor Paul, I mean clothing the poor, feeding the hungry, and housing the un housed, I mean homeless, is the D.S.A., I mean Democratic Party’s priority number one…not just the Christian thing to do with one’s own blood, sweat and tears, I mean time and money…Anywho, Tom Jones is the coolest photographer on Earth. Peace be with you Jaywalker
Whoever designed the statue of the firefighter and the policeman captured both the fear, and the sense of duty that day inspired.
Bravo.
I don’t have an answer for the begging, homelessness & concurrent drug addiction crisis afflicting North America. While travelling through Bowling Green, Kentucky, I spied a sign that read “Please don’t encourage begging; there are other ways to help.” That sign really stuck with me.
As a Canadian, I am thrilled our two inconsolable Governments have agreed to finally open the Gordie Howe bridge. It is a terrific structure, further enhancing the longest undefended border in the world, and additionally integrating two of the most splendid peoples in the world.
Gordie Howe was, of course, a tremendous Canadian hockey player who played predominantly in Detroit. I cannot think of a more fitting name for such a grand, beneficent structure.
