A belated Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day to you, sir. Thank you for your writing and commentary on the great tradition of America and the West. Wishing you all the best.
Merry Christmas! Christmas without music is pointless. The three I mentioned above are just a few of what I listen to every year. I was a kid in the late 70s/early 80s when Nonesuch was putting out a lot of great early music albums and I had a dad who got interested in really just, so my childhood Christmases were filled not only with Mitch Miller and Fred Waring, but the Boston Canerata and the Waverly Consort. I was a fortunate child indeed.

Thank you!
And this reader appreciates you, Jay.
Thank you!
Merry Christmas!
You too, Francesca.
Merry Christmas, Jay!
Thank you, my man!
Here are three of my favorites. 1. Kathleen Battle singing Rise up, Shepherd https://youtu.be/NsxZdsTCSrQ?si=B2rfC27SfTkHRIQ6. 2. All Sons of Adam, https://youtu.be/uMa1u-ZPe-8?si=Z6M91h1YEnMrb8LR, and 3. Balulalow (not the Britten version, the old Scottish version from the 15th or 16th century on this album) https://youtube.com/watch?v=v4WfC-jl9qU&feature=shared.

Wonderful!
Merry Christmas, Mr. Nordlinger. You bring cheer with all that you do (even your solid reporting and opining on the not-so-cheery stuff).
Thank you, JB!
