Oftentimes in the morning, before I turn on the TV or flip open my laptop, I wonder "what completely abnormal thing will become normal today?"

Jay, you saty, "Jeanine Pirro may be a perfect Fox News personality—but should she be entrusted with important legal responsibility, governmental responsibility?". I think probably yes. Andrew McCarthy has said " she is a highly qualified and very experienced former prosecutor (Westchester County district attorney) and New York state judge".

Someone *complained* that Hannan's "riding one horse with two arses"? The metaphor of riding two horses with only one pair of buttocks I've heard before, but isn't one horse per pair the usual number?

"What if I had said the following to you a year ago? 'If Trump is given a second term, he will nominate Kash Patel to be the director of the FBI; Pete Hegseth to be the secretary of defense; Tulsi Gabbard to be the director of national intelligence; Robert F. Claire Berlinski asked subscribers in Nov 2024, if the Senate confirmed all but one of "Rapey McForehead", "Svetlana Gabbard", "Fox News Psycho", or "Welcome, Polio!", which one would be the odd one out? (The readership chose McForehead, who withdrew his nomination some days later.)

(That excess "woke" harms AI's truthfulness doesn't preclude anti-woke revisions of it, especially by the reckless and fash-curious, from being considerably worse.)

Except for being yellow, the Ferrari looks like a space ship out of "Babylon 5".

When Bukele first took office, my Salvadoran friends were really pleased: he was going to do something about crime, and the ladies found him a cutie-pie. (Too shiny for my taste.) I don't know what the current opinion is.

Great points about law and order conservatism. Isn’t that the whole point of having civilization in the first place? If my team can riot but your team can’t then you don’t really have a civilization, do you? You just have completing bands of barbarians.

I agree: principles have to be consistent. "It's good when we do it," is garbage reasoning.
